1964 ABC Photo and Caption, Jonny and Bandit

This black-and-white photograph of color artwork of Jonny and Bandit, probably by the show's creator, Doug Wildey, was sent by ABC to print media to promote the episode, "Calcutta Adventure," which premiered Oct. 23, 1964. The print is 7x9 inches, which was standard for publicity photos. The paper measures 5.5 x 8.5 inches and was glued to the back of the print. It's perforated so the caption could be removed, presumably so the content could be re-keyed.

The caption reads:

EXCLUSIVE TO YOU IN YOUR CITY
OFF TO INDIA
Jonny and his dog Bandit experience strange and exciting adventures in the mysterious mountains of India in the "Calcutta Adventure," on ABC-TV's "Jonny Quest," Friday, Oct. 23 (7:30-8 p.m. EDT).
